A little background…

I’m a photographer based in the greater Boston area. My focus is on documenting every day life and special events, as well as concerts and portraiture. I am happy to deliver results using either film or digital as a medium, depending on the preference of the party.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively in my life, which helped to develop my passion for photography as a means to share experiences with friends and family. This led to a much more focused interest in the subject that I’ve explored through professional courses at the New York School of Visual Arts, as well as writing for film photography publications and various contributions to visual arts entities.

Although a large amount of my work remains private, I am always open to collaboration and proposals for projects, events and photoshoots. I am available for assignments such as weddings, concerts and other events in the Boston area, and can travel to a number of other places in New England. — J.
